摘  要

隨著素質教育不斷地發展,英語教學越來越注重培養學生運用語言進行交際的能力。英語要達到交際的目的,就必須依靠一定的語言環境。正如布魯姆所說:“成功的外語課堂教學應當在課內創設更多的情境,讓學生有機會運用已學到的語言材料,能調動學生的非智力因素,提高教學質量。”簡單地說,情境創設是指教師通過對學習主體和學習內容的分析,為學生提供一個完整的問題背景,以激發學生自主地學習,主動完成知識意義的構建,從而提高課堂教學的有效性。本文從情景創設的背景知識入手,再聯系相關的二語習得,建構主義等教學理論,為了保證本文的有效性,先指出創設有效情景時所要遵循的原則,然后討論了創設有效情景的可行性措施,列舉了一些方法及實例。本文以初中英語課堂教學情景創設為研究對象,并在實例的分析的基礎上提出反思,這對中學英語教學起到一定的促進作用。

Abstract

With the rapidly development of quality-oriented education, English teaching is paying more and more attention to the cultivation of students’ communicative competence. As Bloom said: “the success of foreign language teaching should create more situation in the class so that students will have the opportunity to use the language materials they have already learned. It can arouse students’ non-intelligent elements, improve the quality of teaching.” Simply, situational creation refers to the analysis of learners and learning content by teachers, providing a complete background, stimulating students’ self-learning and establishing the construction of significant knowledge so that it can improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching. The thesis starts expounding background knowledge of situational creation,analysis the development of situation teaching in foreign countries and China, the difference between new curriculum standards and situation creation. Also some related supportive theories have been mentioned, such as the second language acquisition theory, constructive theory and cognitive psychology theory. What follows is to illustrate the principles to be observed in establishing effective situation. To guarantee the efficiency of this thesis, we have discussed the measure of validity in feasible situational creation by exploring some strategies and cases. The thesis is about the research of applying situational creation to English teaching in middle school. Also, an afterthought (create effective situations) has been followed after the analysis of some cases, which can be beneficial for English classroom teaching in middle school.

1 Introduction
With the informational and economic globalization of social life, English has played a more important role in our work and daily life increasingly. English teaching has a long history of many years. This thesis discusses about how to promote the quality of input and output by designing context properly to achieve the goal of obtaining language even more efficiently and applying language even better in daily life.
